Discover its origins, its traditions and its wonderful territory
Santa Teresa Gallura stands out in Sardinia for its unique, centuries-old history. In fact, its foundation dates back to the 12th of August 1808 with the decree of Vittorio Emanuele I, who initiated the foundation of Santa Teresa. The same king drew the plan of the town and decided on the name in honour of his wife, Queen Maria Teresa d'Asburgo-Este.
